    The demand for sensors that can accurately detect products without being influenced by the design of containers and packages is increasing as improvements have been made in a wide range of industrial equipment, such as packagers and coffee makers, and they have become more sophisticated and multifunctional.

     

    On the basis that detection is carried out under specified circumstances dependent on the color and material of the object to be detected, conventional reflected sensors*1 that have been integrated into equipment have been employed. When the object was altered or added, there was a problem with unreliable detection.

     

    The “B5W-LB series” sensors are not influenced by a change in object color and/or material thanks to the use of the “detection by light convergent reflective method” that has been utilized for sensors primarily for factory manufacturing facilities, helping to reduce faults.

     

    A product that is not in its intended place may go unnoticed by sensors using the light convergent reflective approach because they have a smaller detection range.
