    This is consistent with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent remarks about the importance of developing a local-level flood warning system, which he made during a meeting with the Chief Ministers of six states (Assam, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Kerala).

     

    The nature-based dangers may now be incorporated into early warning systems, which is how FEWS is built, the director general of TERI remarked during the inaugural event.
