Electro-mechanical gauges called capacitance manometers detect vacuum and pressure. A pressure-modulated movement of a thin diaphragm is converted into an electrical signal proportionate to the pressure by the capacitance gauge.
Capacitance manometers measure pressure instead of fluid level by employing a tensioned metal diaphragm and an electrode assembly. The capacitance between the electrode assembly and the diaphragm changes as it moves.
This change in capacitance is detected by an oscillator circuit, which then turns it into quantifiable units. The hydrostatic (standing liquid) balance principle is used by the manometer to measure pressure by the height of the liquid it can support.
The Global Capacitance Manometer Market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.
Introducing a Novel Capacitance Manometer from Brooks At Intersolar North America, Brooks Instrument will present its brand-new XacTorr CMX0 capacitance manometer as well as the enhanced EtherCAT functionality of its GF40/80 mass flow controller.
Brooks will also display other mass flow, pressure, and vacuum products for the solar and semiconductor industries at Booth 5648.
Manufacturers of solar panels and semiconductors can get extremely reliable and repeatable data for pressure-sensitive operations from the Brooks XacTorr CMX line of capacitance manometers. Full-scale ranges from 1000 Torr to 100 mTorr are provided by the product, along with reading accuracy of 0.15%.
The Brooks XacTorr lasts up to three times longer in harsh operations than comparable capacitance manometers because to its proprietary Mark IV sensor.
The sensor’s ability to rapidly recover from severe variations in pressure makes it more competitive with other vacuum gauges on the market in terms of downtime. Users have the option of using the XacTorr CMX0 unheated, which has the same full-scale ranges and a reading accuracy of 0.25%.
Additionally, it supports drop-in replacement and special diagnostic tools for preventative maintenance, like tracking the remaining zero adjustment range to enable scheduled maintenance, which lowers the likelihood of unforeseen disruptions.
The digital communication protocol used by XacTorr CMX0 also monitors and troubleshoots issues without interfering with the tool communication system.
