    Canoo Announces EV Battery Module Manufacturing Facility in Oklahoma Canoo, a premier high-tech advanced mobility firm, has announced an EV Battery Module Manufacturing Facility at MidAmerica Industrial Park in Pryor, OK. The new plant will increase Canoo’s production and employment presence in the region. When fully operational, the plant will have a capacity of roughly 3200 MWhs for battery module manufacture.

     

    They are advancing its employment plans in Pryor with the creation of their EV Battery Module Manufacturing Facility, which will produce our patented battery modules, energy management system, and thermal control technologies for their MPP platform.

     

    This is the first step in Canoo’s production ramp strategy, with more details to follow. The location was chosen strategically because it is close to Panasonic, their battery cell supplier, and their prospective MegaMicro facility. Furthermore, they will be the first EV company to use Grand River Dam Authority hydro-power to build their battery modules.
