    EUROPE SINGLE BOARD COMPUTER MARKET

    INTRODUCTION

A Single-Board Computer, often known as an SBC, is a fully functional computer that is constructed around a single PCB and includes all necessary hardware, such as the processor, chipset, memory, I/O ports, and other components.

A Single-Board Computer does not require any expansion card slots, unlike the standard PC. The SBC is perfectly suited for integration with systems, devices, and software due to its design. All that is still needed is a screen, a power source, and possibly some kind of control system.

    NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH

Sigma, a single-board computer from LattePanda, features a Thunderbolt 4 port and two 2.5 GbE ports along with an Intel Raptor Lake-P CPU.  The new Sigma is most likely the fastest SBC available because it essentially provides the performance of a mid-range laptop with even greater networking.

It has an Intel i5-1340P CPU, 16 GB of LPDDR5-6400 RAM, support for over 12 TB of storage, four 4K video outputs, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and two 2.5 GbE NICs.

Due to the Intel Raptor Lake-P processor that powers the new Sigma model, which practically provides the performance and connection of a mid-range laptop, the device is noticeably more advanced.

The 28 W 12-core/16-thread Intel i5-1340P CPU with an 80 EU Iris Xe iGPU and the ATmega32U4-MU co-processor are the brains of the Sigma SBC. A 16 GB LPDDR5-6400 RAM module is connected to these. There isn’t a wireless connectivity module or storage option by default.

The M.2 E key for Wi-Fi, the two M.2 M keys for NVMe SSDs, the M.2 B key for SATA SSD or a 5G module, and the M.2 M keys are all ways that users can add their own solutions.

With two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 2.1 and eDP 1.4b ports, and a total of four video outs via Thunderbolt 4, the port selection is rather extensive for an SBC that measures 146 x 102 mm.
