The Automated Lid System can be constructed to accommodate a wide range of lid, fitting, and closure configurations. The Automated Lid System can de-nest stacks of lids or process lids directly from the injection moulding machine.
Lids are placed in pockets that are made to keep them safe from harm. There is a gasket verification station on every machine. Leak testing is incorporated into the machine for fittings and closures. Any detecting station failure results in a lid being rejected without further treatment and not being stacked.

Gaskets and fitments are automatically put into plastic lids by the Martin Automated ALS06. Three different lid styles can be processed by the ALS06 at once.
Different closures and fitments can be fitted on each lid, and the various styled lids are monitored as they enter the machinery. The three different stacks of completed lids are recorded, stacked, and tallied. During manufacturing, each station can either be disabled or enabled.
