    • Autoliv Inc leader in vehicle safety system has completed first unique crash test where, e-scooter airbag concept was tested. This is expected to reduce the head and chest injury to the e-scooter rider.
    • Autoliv and Hyundai Motor Group have developed a new centre side airbag, in between the 2 passenger seats in the front row. This is installed in order to prevent bumping of 2 passengers inside the vehicle upon side impact.

It also integrates airbag system IC, airbag sensor that detects the impact – measuring not more than 10 millimeters and weighing just a few grams – trigger the profuse. By cutting off the flow of current, the risk of electric shock or fire is reduced.
    • The new airbag will be available in the new 2021 Acura TLX. A three-chambered unit that deploys to cradle the head of the passenger seat occupant. The head -cradle design is intended to reduce brain injury in major accidents.
    • Noro introduces a self-driving delivery van with exterior airbags. The third-generation truck has double the cargo capacity of its predecessor and new temperature-controlled compartments. The new R3 model is powered entirely by renewable energy, and the California-based company has promised to publish a sustainability report detailing its efforts.
    • External airbags for pedestrians outside the vehicle and a multi-modal sensing suite comprising of lidar sensors, cameras, and radar to detail its surroundings are also included in the delivery truck’s safety measures. BYD North America will produce the new Nuro model as part of a supplier relationship.
    • Ferguson describes the new production location as “ground-breaking” and “one of the industry’s first end-of-line manufacturing facilities in America.” It also includes a closed-course test track.
