The fuel pump is a fluid handling pump that moves fuel from the fuel tank to the engine. A fuel pump is an essential component of an internal combustion (IC) engine. This is due to the fact that gasoline is required to keep the engine operating.
Mechanical, electric, and high-pressure fuel pumps are the three types of fuel pumps. The global demand for fuel pumps is increasing as automobiles age.
The UK government has announced plans to help the industry grow to 300,000 public electric vehicle (EV) charge points by 2030, which is five times the number of gas stations on the road today. The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Strategy will see the UK invest GBP 1.6 billion.
Weifu High-Technology Group Co., Ltd. announced that it will pay Robert Bosch EUR 60 million in cash for a 100 percent stake in VHIT and VHIT, Automotive Systems (Wuxi) Co. Ltd. Mechanical vacuum pumps, electric vacuum pumps, electric fuel pumps, hydraulic valves, and other related goods are the emphasis of VHIT’s development, manufacture, and sale.
Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) presented Aisan Industry Co., Ltd (Aisan) with the Global Contribution Award at the 2021 Toyota Global Suppliers Award for substantial contributions to Toyota’s global operations through superior quality, cost, and technology. It is the highest honour bestowed upon Toyota’s suppliers.
DENSO, a leading mobility company, and Aisan, a powertrain company, announced today that their respective Boards of Directors have agreed to transfer DENSO’s fuel pump module business to Aisan. The Board also voted to allow Aisan to buy DENSO’s equity investment in KYOSAN DENSO MANUFACTURING KENTUCKY, LLC (KDMK) in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.
According to the study, DENSO would transfer its complete fuel pump module development, production, and sales business to Aisan, and Aisan will acquire DENSO’s equity holding in KDMK. DENSO will also not grow its ownership position in Aisan, according to the firms.
By merging Aisan and DENSO’s technology and know-how, as well as utilising resources to improve production efficiency and achieve low-cost manufacturing, Aisan will seek to expand its product capabilities.
The two firms will continue to work together and leverage each other’s skills to help realise a sustainable mobility society.
The Global Automotive Fuel Pump Market accounted for $XX Billion in 2021 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2026, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2022 to 2027.
SX Performance, which was an affiliate of Essex Industries Inc., was recently acquired by Edelbrock. SX Performance specialises in sophisticated fluid delivery systems for aerospace, military, and automotive applications.
While serving some of the biggest brands in the aerospace and armed forces sectors, the company has an established track record in aerospace design, manufacture, quality control, distribution, and customer support. SX Performance is well-known to Edelbrock, having produced all of the company’s electric Quiet-Flo fuel pumps, in-line fuel pumps, and regulators.
This acquisition, according to Edelbrock, will shorten production lead times, make Edelbrock more price competitive, and boost quality to even higher levels in the fuel distribution and component industry. All manufacturing equipment, raw materials, present and future product ideas, and any existing inventories are all included in the purchase.
Edelbrock will also continue to assist all of SX Performance’s current clients. The entire operation has already moved from St. Louis, Missouri, to Edelbrock’s Torrance, California, plant.
TRICO Group and UCI International Holdings Inc. (UCI) announced today the sale of the Performance Pumps business to TRICO Group, which includes ASC Industries and Airtex Products. The transaction goes into effect right now.
The BKS1001 high-pressure, brushless fuel pump and controller kit, as well as the GSL396 high-pressure in-line fuel pump, have both been released by TI Automotive.
On the company’s aftermarket website, TI Automotive also debuted its groundbreaking “Pick Your Horsepower” computerised search engine. The interactive “Pick Your Horsepower” tool replaces the old approach of manually looking for the proper high-performance fuel pump with a dynamic digital catalogue to search for universal fuel pump possibilities for a custom design.
A new high-pressure fuel pump for gasoline direct injection (GDI) systems was released by Denso Corporation. A precise amount of fuel is delivered to the engine at a high pressure by the pump, which was created to increase fuel economy and lower pollution in gasoline-powered vehicles.
A pressure of up to 35 MPa (5,076 psi), which is much more than the pressure produced by traditional fuel injection systems, may be produced by the Denso GDI high-pressure fuel pump. With improved fuel atomization made possible by the higher pressure, combustion is more effective and emissions are decreased.
The pump’s lightweight and small construction also makes it easier to install in cars with restricted under-hood space. The pump, according to Denso, is extremely dependable and long-lasting due to its cutting-edge production techniques and use of premium components.
With its ability to improve fuel efficiency and reduce environmental impact, the Denso GDI high-pressure fuel pump represents a significant leap in fuel delivery technique.
A brand-new series of petrol pumps from Airtex Products has been introduced that are especially made for vehicles. The pumps were made available for a variety of car brands, including as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, and others, and were created to meet or surpass Original Equipment (OE) criteria.
Even in difficult working circumstances, the Airtex fuel pumps are made to deliver a dependable and steady flow of fuel. They are designed to provide the proper quantity of gasoline to the engine at the right moment, enhancing performance while also enhancing fuel efficiency and lowering pollutants.
The small and lightweight design of the Airtex fuel pumps also makes it simple to install them in confined locations. To ensure a hassle-free installation procedure, they also include all the required hardware and accessories.
A new range of gasoline direct injection (GDI) fuel pumps was introduced by Delphi Technologies. The pumps’ main functions are to provide accurate fuel delivery and reduce pollutants in fuel-injected vehicles.
With the help of cutting-edge technology, the Delphi GDI fuel pumps supply fuel with high pressure and exact timing, enabling more effective combustion and better fuel efficiency. The pumps’ improved air-to-fuel ratio management is another feature that is intended to lower emissions.
The Delphi GDI fuel pumps are also designed for extreme dependability and longevity. They are built to resist challenging working conditions and deliver reliable performance over the years. The pumps have several characteristics and benefits, such as a lightweight, compact form for simple installation and modern materials and manufacturing techniques for increased durability and dependability.
