INTRODUCTION OF AUTOMOTIVE-GRADE HIGH-TEMPERATURE INDUCTORS MARKET

Most power electronic circuits employ an inductor, a passive part, to store energy in the form of magnetic energy, which is released when electricity is delivered to it.

The fact that an inductor resists changes in the quantity of current that passes through it is one of its essential characteristics.

In order to equalise the current flowing through it whenever the current across the inductor changes, it either gains or loses charge. A choke, reactor, or simply a coil are other names for an inductor.

AUTOMOTIVE-GRADE HIGH-TEMPERATURE INDUCTORS MARKET SIZE AND FORECAST

The Global Automotive-Grade High-Temperature Inductors market accounted for $XX Billion in 2021 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.

AUTOMOTIVE-GRADE HIGH-TEMPERATURE INDUCTORS MARKET NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH

Vishay Introduced Automotive Grade IHSR High Temperature Inductor. The first IHSR high temperature inductor with current ratings up to 155 A in the 19.0 mm by 17.1 mm by 7.0 mm 6767 case size has been released by Vishay Intertechnology.

It is AEC-Q200 approved. The Vishay Dale IHSR-6767GZ-5A has been designed for multi-phase, high current power supply and input/output filters in automotive under-the-hood and ADAS applications. It is also 50% smaller than comparable ferrite-based alternatives.

The Automotive Grade inductor  released it’s best suited for high current filtering and energy storage in DC/DC converters up to 5 MHz.

The device is suited for filtering and DC/DC conversion in ADAS and LIDAR microprocessors, 12 V/48 V vacuum-less braking systems, OBCs, and brushless DC electric motors up to 140 A due to its high operating temperature of +155 °C.

With no hard saturation and more stable inductance and saturation throughout the entire working temperature range, the IHSR-6767GZ-5A’s low typical DCR of 0.24 m and inductance of 0.22 H enable larger current densities than competing technologies for these applications.

The inductor is packaged in a shielded, composite material that is 100% lead (Pb)-free, has strong resistance to thermal shock, moisture, and mechanical shock, and can tolerate large transient current spikes without saturation. The gadget is Vishay Green, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant.
