When the windows are down or the car is moving quickly, air deflectors are installed on the windows to prevent the rain, however this can be uncomfortable for the people inside the car because of the sound of gushing winds.

Even a small height error of 6 cm can increase fuel consumption by 1%, and a height error of 10 cm can result in a fuel penalty. The deflector is positioned taking into account the customer’s typical trailer height. The air should be directed from the deflector to flow just over the front edge of the trailer or bodywork as a general rule. It’s easier said than done, but this is the best adjustment.
