An EV charger is a piece of equipment that supplies electricity to electric vehicles. Its major purpose is to keep an EV's battery charged in order to retain the vehicle's mobility.
While the batteries of the vast majority of eclectic vehicles can only be charged with direct current (DC) power, some electric vehicles (EV) have a charger that can convert alternating current (AC) electricity into DC and then send that power to the vehicle's charging port.
When it comes down to it, an EV charger works exactly like any other appliance or device you plug into the wall to charge: it pulls electrical current from either a 240v outlet or the grid it is hardwired to, then it delivers that electricity to the vehicle.
The Côte dâIvoire EV Charger Market accounted for $XX Billion in 2021 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
Ghana's TotalEnergies has unveiled its first EV charger.
The first electric vehicle (EV) charging station for Ghana has been put into operation by TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana. This is a component of the country's attempts to increase the demand for and use of electric vehicles.
In his speech, the managing director of TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana PLC stated that the EV charging unit represents a significant advancement for the automotive sector and is the first in West Africa.
The charger is at an Accra train station. Additionally, he disclosed that the business had added a free Wi-Fi service at a few particular TotalEnergies Service Stations.
This service allows users to access a secure and legal internet connection at the gas station with the goal of enhancing the customer experience.
