Traditional fixed IP cameras often only keep an eye on a single fixed region, however PTZ cameras may rotate and keep an eye on several directions thanks to its design.
Traditional PTZ cameras, however, are still only able to view one direction at once. The monitored area will no longer be visible in the original direction when the lens turns in a different direction. Recently, Uniview introduced a brand-new type of PTZ camera called the dual-lens PTZ camera, fusing the benefits of fixed IP cameras with PTZ.
First off, adding a lens to the recently released dual-lens PTZ camera completely reimagines the aesthetics of the earlier PTZ camera models. The lower lens, a 4x zoom detail lens with a 345° rotational range, is used to capture the finer details of the image while the upper lens, a 2.8mm fixed lens, is used to capture the overall image.
A wider monitoring area was provided by the fixed lens, and the detail lens also provided a greater amount of detail. For example, if a target is detected in the image, the detail lens will track it and automatically zoom in to reveal the details.
In order to preserve complete information, the fixed lens is able to simultaneously watch the rest region.In addition to the dual lens design, improvements were made to the MIC and illumination.
