    The majority of ferry routes throughout the world could now be electrified as a result. Electra is powered by batteries that can be fully charged in under three hours and have a 9000kWH capacity (based on a 2400kW charging system).

     

    According to boundary layer technology, the battery-powered system greatly reduces cabin noise by up to 20 db when compared to conventional ferries. The 150-person boat also guarantees a calm trip even in stormy water.

     

    The electra’s electric system is less expensive as well as better for the environment. When compared to fast ferry options that burn fossil fuels, the maritime tech business claims that the Electra ferry offers operating expenditure savings of up to 35%.
