Hitachi has announced the debut of their new TX Series escalator for India, Asia, and the Middle East, which is a model that fits a number of criteria. The TX Series, which was introduced by Hitachi, Ltd. and Hitachi Building Systems Co., Ltd. and has the same concept as the machine-room-less elevator in Asia and the Middle East, has a practical design that adjusts to users' unconscious movements.
The new series was developed in accordance with international safety requirements as well as Hitachi's stringent safety and quality standards. The left and right sections of the escalator are fitted with brushes at foot level to alert passengers if their feet hit the side walls, and the side sections are 8mm higher than the central section to prevent the user's shoes from being caught on the stair.
In the new TX Series, a unique polish is placed to the escalator's heading and neb to prevent riders from slipping while boarding or exiting.
