    An EV Anti-static coatings are designed to mitigate static electricity and the risk of product damage. Conductive coatings are the most common type of anti-static coatings.


    They work to stop excess electricity from collecting in one place within the device. Anti-static coatings typically consist of a conducting polymer (plastic) and a solvent made from deionized water and alcohol.


    When the solvent evaporates, it leaves behind an invisibly thin conducting “skin” on the surface of the object that prevents static build-up.


    EV Antistatic coatings are functional coatings used on surfaces in order to reduce or eliminate buildup of electrostatic charge.


    The cured surface is conductive in the range of kilovolts, at low voltages (< ONE KV) it acts as an insulator.  Because acumulated electrostatic charge discharges at even higher voltgaes than the  conductance treshhold of powder film it is succesfuly dissipated prior any potential damage is made.

    This coating prevents charge generation on the sheet surfaces and thereby controls particulate attraction and prevents electrostatic discharge (ESD). It is suitable for use in the semiconductor, electronic, micro-manufacturing, and mining industries.
