This feature originally debuted in high-end automobiles. It has become necessary to implement at least some basic TPMS requirements for run-flat tyres due to the introduction of emergency spare tyres and run-flat tyres by a number of tyre and vehicle manufacturers. Because a driver using run-flat tyres is unlikely to realise when a tyre is running flat, so-called "run-flat warning systems" were developed. These are typically first-generation, solely roll-radius based iTPMS that make sure run-flat tyres are not used past their 80 km/h or 80 km driving range restrictions.

 

The iTPMS market has also advanced. Using the combined use of roll radius and spectrum analysis, indirect TPMS are able to detect under-inflation, making four-wheel monitoring possible. With this development, iTPMS can also be used to comply with the law.

For Ather 450X, Ather Energy has unveiled a tyre pressure monitoring system. New system will be introduced by EV manufacturer. A TPMS is launched to monitor the air pressure in a vehicle's tyres, as its name suggests. The reason why most individuals don't pay much attention to their car's tyre pressure is likely because doing so requires a trip to a petrol station, a visit to a business that fixes punctures in tyres, or the purchase of a tyre pressure gauge.

 

And a TPMS will be useful in these situations. The ability to show real-time tyre pressure is a useful function to have. Starting in October, owners of the Ather 450X electric scooter will be able to take use of a TPMS. It will be offered as an add-on.

 

Ather Energy has not yet provided any additional information in this regard. It contains a 2.9 kWh lithium-ion battery that powers a 6 kW/26 Nm electric motor. Four riding modes, including Eco, Ride, Sport, and a high-performance "Warp" mode, are included with the electric scooter. The Ather 450X is the fastest electric scooter since it can accelerate from a standstill to 40 km/h in warp mode in under 3.3 seconds.
