A form of thermographic camera used in firefighting is a thermal imaging camera, or TIC for short. Such cameras enable firefighters to view hot spots through smoke, darkness, or heat-permeable barriers by converting infrared radiation to visible light.
Global firefighting camera market accounted for $XX Billion in 2021 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
The new FLIR K55 has been added to FLIR Systems, Inc.'s lineup of thermal imaging firefighting cameras. The K55 features FLIR's ground-breaking Flexible Scene Enhancement (FSX) technology, which generates incredibly sharp thermal imaging.
It also has on-board video recording, which is great for gathering evidence and teaching. The newest member of FLIR's K-Series family will improve firefighters' vision in smoke-filled or completely dark environments.
The K55 with FSX allows firefights to manoeuvre securely and make precise decisions when tackling fires and looking for victims thanks to its ultra-sharp 320x240 pixel thermal images shown on a big, bright 4â²â² LCD display. The original image is upgraded and blended with image elements like edges and corners to produce an image with more information than ever.
The fireman can operate all of the camera's controls using the K55's three straightforward buttons, even while donning thick gloves. The FLIR K55 can be customised by the firefighter to fit even the most difficult circumstances.
The K-Series is made to work in challenging environments as well; it can endure a drop of two metres onto concrete, is water resistant (IP67), and is completely functional up to +260°C/+500°F.
