Additionally, these devices have a low component count and a simple architecture, operating at switching frequencies of 100 kHz and 65 kHz.

 

The efficiency between mid- and light load conditions is improved by the frequency reduction mode with soft gate driving and frequency jitter operating. Additionally, the gadgets support discontinuous (DCM) and continuous (CCM) conduction modes (DCM).

 

CCM operation can achieve lower conduction losses and a greater efficiency for low AC line input conditions, helping it to fulfil global regulatory standards for energy efficiency.

 

An ultra-wide input voltage range typically found in single-phase smart metering and industrial applications is supported by the integrated MOSFET. Additionally, these tools aid in snubber circuitry optimization, which raises the converter’s efficiency and reduces its standby power consumption.
