Flexo Plastic is a process that combines high speed rotation with a raised positive mirrored master of the desired print image in a rubber or polymer substance that is created using either analogue or digital platemaking technology. On the rubber or polymer plate, the image areas are elevated above the non-image areas.
The Coating plate is then secured using plate mounting tape to a sleeve or print cylinder.
