Shale and other types of “tight” rock can be extracted of their natural gas or oil using the modern high-volume hydraulic fracturing method (in other words, impermeable rock formations that lock in oil and gas and make fossil fuel production difficult). The once-trapped gas and oil are released to the surface by blasting large amounts of water, chemicals, and sand into these formations at pressures high enough to crack the rock.
Numerous pieces of machinery, including high-pressure, high-volume fracking pumps, fracking fluid blenders, and storage tanks for water, sand, chemicals, and wastewater, are needed for hydraulic fracturing. Heavy trucks are typically used to transport this infrastructure, as well as additional items, to drill sites.
In this application, series filtration down to 10 micron is typically performed using bags and cartridge type filters. Several filter technologies are used in the wet manufacturing process to create sand for fracking. The washing and classification procedures are controlled by the use of bag filters, centrifugal separators, and cartridge filters.
The Global Fracking equipment filter market accounted for $XX Billion in 2021 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2022 to 2030.
For all makes and models of filter presses & filter plates AND… for a variety of industrial applications like “fracking,” mining & mineral processing, refineries, and chemical manufacturing, Micronics manufactures industry-leading filter press cloths. Three thousand to nine thousand gallons of water per well are used in “fracking,” or hydraulic fracturing, which is the process used to extract oil and gas. The liquid/solid separation process is carried out using large-scale filter presses, and Micronics has the dependable experience to provide the filter press cloth that is best for these hydraulic fracturing presses.
