An electric truck is a battery-operated electric vehicle intended to deliver goods, carry specialised payloads, or carry out other practical tasks. The lithium-ion battery pack comes in several sizes and has a top speed of 50 mph and a range of 55 to 110 mi.
Three to four hours are needed to fully charge the truck battery. The truck has a range of up to 100 kilometres when completely charged. Therefore, the electric truck should be able to operate for an entire manufacturing day without needing to recharge.
The electric truck will reduce annual CO2 emissions compared to a diesel-powered truck.
The France Electric Truck Battery Market accounted for $XX Billion in 2021 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2026, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2022 to 2027.
The French mining company Eramet said that it may work with Suez to create a battery recycling facility for electric vehicles in France. Eramet, a significant manufacturer of nickel and manganese for the steel industry, has shifted its attention increasingly to components for electric vehicles.
As part of a strengthened relationship, Eramet and the environmental services company Suez will research industrial-scale recycling options this year with the goal of establishing a lithium-ion battery recycling facility in France.
The combined project would result in the production of black mass, a metal concentrate suited for hydrometallurgical processing that contains nickel, cobalt, manganese, lithium, and graphite.
Eramet will investigate building a refinery to transform blackmass into battery-grade products independently. The refining factory would be situated in France, just like the anticipated blackmass facility.
