Germany is the most populated and richest country in Europe.
The country has a strong industrial history and is a leader in many industrial sectors, including the manufacture of cement production equipment, which has enabled strong exports to developing regions of the world, despite the fact that its cement production industry has been muted in recent years as a result of the global economic downturn.
The number of companies in Germany’s cement industry has increased throughout time. German cement producers continually invest in state-of-the-art equipment.
The Germany Cement market accounted for $XX Billion in 2021 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2022 to 2030.
Buzzi Unicem has introduced the CGreen product line, a group of CO2 effective cements, to the German and Italian markets.
Following a long tradition of high-quality, high-performance products, CGreen represents the logical evolution of Buzzi Unicem’s hydraulic binders.
The CGreen line was developed while maintaining the required technical performance by choosing appropriate active additions, partially replacing clinker, optimising grinding and mixing conditions, and using new generation additives.
On the grounds of the Rohrdorf cement plant, construction is currently underway on Germany’s first CO2 separation plant for cement production. A significant step toward cement production that is climate neutral is the pilot project. Every day, two tonnes of CO2 are captured and used as raw materials by the local chemical industry.
Cement plant operator Rohrdorfer is starting the pilot project on its own initiative to investigate the viability of carbon dioxide capture and consequently environmentally friendly cement production. Building of the plant is being done in collaboration with the Andritz Group.
