Using just approximately 100 milligrammes of ground rock material with a 60 mesh size, the HAWK device analyses all the traditional pyrolysis parameters (S1, S2, S3, and Tmax) and TOC. The HAWK also determines the amount of carbonate in your rock samples by measuring inorganic carbon.
Instruments for HAWK Pyrolysis, TOC, and carbonate carbon modern tools that improve the precision and accuracy of your rock analysis.
In order to determine the total organic carbon (TOC), oil (S1), hydrocarbons yield from pyrolysis of kerogen (S2), pyrolysis measurements of both CO and CO2 (S3CO and S3CO2), maturity of the drilled depths (Tmax), and non-generating organic carbon content as determined from the oxidation cycle’s CO and CO2 emissions, this instrument analyses rock samples (core, cuttings, and outcrops) (S4CO and S4CO2).
The HAWK Instrument also measures the CO2 content that results from the breakdown of carbonates (S3CO’, S3CO2′, and S5) in order to calculate the carbonate concentration.
The Global HAWK Pyrolysis & TOC Instrument market accounted for $XX Billion in 2021 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2022 to 2030.
Instrument for HAWK pyrolysis from Wildcat Technologies, Instrument for HAWK Pyrolysis and TOC
HAWK provides quick and precise Pyrolysis, TOC, and Carbonate Carbon studies on cuttings, core, and outcrop samples, making it suitable for evaluating both conventional and unconventional petroleum resources. It is also possible to perform pyrolysis on samples of oils and other fluids.
Details and capabilities: The initial volatiles that are thermally emitted from your rock samples are guaranteed to be accurately and repeatedly measured thanks to the cool sample introduction and ball bearing oven guide.
Modular construction and intelligent diagnostics enable quick field replacement of components. A report generator included in the package (HAWK-Eye) enables evaluation and comparison of diverse resource systems.
Wildcat is working on adding more capabilities to their instrumentation through hardware improvements and software enhancements.
In addition, applications support has become a huge part of Wildcat’s mission. HAWK-PAM and API Gravity on drill cuttings & cores is just the start of what we are working towards in developing further applications.
