INTRODUCTION
The equipment is made to increase film strength, manufacturing flexibility, and thickness control. Good film thickness control and resistance are provided by a high precision die head and cooling air ring.
Products made using the blown film method range from straightforward monolayer films for bags to extremely intricate multilayer structures used in food packaging. Blowing film coextrusion can join two or more molten polymer layers to create multilayer film structures.
A high-speed air ring mounted on top of the die pushes air at high speed onto the hot film to cool it. The film tube then travels upward while continuing to cool until it passes through nip rolls, where it is flattened to create a tube of film known as a “lay-flat” tube.
After the film is created, excessive trimming is not required, and multiple forms and sizes of the film can be produced using a single die. Blowing film extrusion calls for a lower melting temperature than cast extrusion. The price of manufacturing was decrease
GLOBAL HIGH SPEED BLOWN FILM MACHINE MARKET SIZE AND FORECAST
Global High Speed Blown Film Machine market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.
NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH
A new co-extrusion film blowing line from Labtech is now available with up to nine layers and die lip diameters ranging from 20mm to 120mm. According to the customer’s specifications, each die tier is manufactured specifically for a given resin.
The individual co-ex film blowing line’s die size, layer count, and extruder configuration, as well as the required output, all go into the creation of the film towers.
The towers’ nip-roll widths range from 250mm to 600mm, and each tower has a motor for adjusting the height. The maximum height is customised to meet the needs of the customer, but as an illustration, the tallest 600mm tower has a standard height range that may be adjusted from 3.2m to 4.2m.
The towers have cross rollers that can be adjusted inside an adjustable A-frame that is made of carbon fibre and has nearly no friction. A cage comprised of numerous Teflon rollers that can all be simultaneously adjusted with a spinning wheel stabilises the film bubble. For the best cooling performance, high power single as well as multi-channel air rings are available.
