    The resulting steps can be as small as a fraction of a degree. Because they move in discrete steps, they can be operated in an open loop, without feedback. The steps can be controlled with precision using open-loop, incremental or absolute encoders that can provide feedback to the user.

     

    Depending on the options the drive can help reduce cost, save energy and enhance performance all in one package. However, closed-loop products are also available and deliver enhanced performance, energy savings, and lower heat.

    SD3228B is an intelligent stepper motor drive with integrated motion controller, internal PLC and stepper drive. SD3228B has its local I/O and and various of network options including Canopen, RS23/485 (Modbus). Users can build up cost effective multi-point motion control applications using SB3228B or simply program a single axis application and let it run under standalone control mode.

     

    SD3228B is made with high quality components resulting high reliability and stability and can also be controller with pulse/direction and CW/CCW control signals. It is a cost effective 3-Phase stepper driver using MOTEC patent technologies featuring low heat production, low speed (as low as 1rpm) stability and relatively high torque at high speed etc.

     

    CANOpen, RS232/485(Modbus) network. 8 digital input, 3 digital output, 1 Analog input. Integrated PLC function (ladder diagram programming). Low noise benefit from full micro-step smoothing technologies. Max input response frequency:140KHZ. Two LED lights. Power light will turn on when there is input voltage.
