Hardware logistics is the term for entrusting a third party with the management of the e-commerce supply chain. Everything from picking and packing orders to shipping hardware components like door knobs to customers is included in this process, including receiving orders from the warehouse.

In supply chain management, IT plays a key role in streamlining corporate procedures and avoiding bottlenecks. With regard to manufacturing in particular, businesses are getting closer to achieving on-time procurement, lower inventories, and improved efficiency.

The Global IT Hardware Logistics market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.

To distribute the OEM Hardware business of the software giant, Microsoft Corp. and BAX worldwide have started a five-region worldwide logistics program. Sydney, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Ridderkirk, The Netherlands are among the locations where global logistics centres have begun operations.

With 3,000 pallet roles apiece, Dallas and Ridderkirk are Microsoft’s two biggest operations. 200–500 pallet spots are stored in the other three facilities. A new 42,000 square foot facility in Dallas had to be leased and put into use as part of the launch by BAX.

According to the two businesses, this is the first time they have simultaneously implemented a logistics and distribution program for their products across so many regions. As a result of the agreement, Microsoft has chosen BAX as a turnkey logistics provider for its OEM Hardware’s global distribution.

The launch of Microsoft’s most recent Office XP version is one of the Microsoft logistical programs that BAX manages. According to the business, the XP launch required 193 different shipments totaling over 187,000 pounds of software, all of which were successfully delivered on-time in 97 percent of cases during a two-week period.
