An electric vehicle can access the grid by plugging into a charging station. They store the electricity in rechargeable batteries and use them to power an electric motor that turns the wheels. Because they accelerate faster than cars with traditional fuel engines, electric vehicles feel lighter to drive.
A home charger or a public charging station can be used to charge an electric vehicle. To keep your device fully charged while you're out and about, there are many charging stations available around the UK.
The appropriate EV power tariff is crucial to getting the greatest bargain for home charging, though, since it will enable you to charge your car for less and reduce your bill.
The Jordan Electric vehicle market accounted for $XX Billion in 2023 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
The first of three online discussions between Jordan and the Netherlands over infrastructure for electric vehicles got underway. These discussions are meant to advance the Jordan-Netherlands partnership on EV charging infrastructure.
To hasten the introduction of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure in Jordan, they will also facilitate experience and information exchange on subjects including market models, charging infrastructure systems, and relevant regulatory framework.
The workshops are created in collaboration with the Dutch Energy Transition Facility, the Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR), and the Kingdom of the Netherlands Embassy in Jordan (ETF).
MEMR, the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission, the Ministry of Transport, and the Greater Amman Municipality representatives attend the sessions, which are moderated by the director of the Netherlands Knowledge Platform for Public Charging Infrastructure (NKL).
The Netherlands Enterprise Agency, NKL, the Dutch Organization for Electric Transport, and other knowledge institutes from the Netherlands are participating (RVO).
