Compared to other approaches, the method offers more calibration flexibility, accuracy, and traceability for mercury vapour indicators used to evaluate occupational exposure.The mercury vapour indicator’s mass concentration value can have a correction made via the calibration process. Following calibration, the extended uncertainty of measurement findings from the mercury vapour indicator at the 25 g/m occupational exposure limit has been calculated to be 8%.
