MICROFLUIDIC CHIP MARKET

INTRODUCTION

Devices that have microchannels moulded or imprinted into them are called microfluidic chips. Fluids can move from one point to another by passing through several channels that make up the chip thanks to connections between the channels. Inlet and outlet ports allow this network to communicate with the outside world.

Microfluidic Chip Market

Using a pressure/flow controller, a syringe pump, or a peristaltic pump, the liquids (or gases) are injected into, managed, and/or evacuated from the chip passively or actively. Although modern constructions can be produced with sub-micrometer precision, the interior widths of the channels may vary, often ranging from 5 to 500 m.

MICROFLUIDIC CHIP MARKET SIZE AND FORECAST

Microfluidic Chip Market Size

The Global Microfluidic chip market accounted for $XX Billion in 2023 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.

MICROFLUIDIC CHIP MARKETNEW PRODUCT LAUNCH

For its ground-breaking Telos system, Dolomite Microfluidics has introduced a number of additional microfluidic chip possibilities.

The high-throughput Telos platform will be able to use the enlarged selection of high-quality glass chips for a variety of new applications, offering a really scalable alternative for the manufacture of droplet, particle, and flow products across numerous industries.

The Telos 2 Reagent Chip is now available in a 50 m variant to complement the original 100 m version, enabling the creation of monodisperse, 10 to 75 m droplets containing two reagents.

The Telos 2 Reagent Encapsulation Chip was created in response to the rising popularity of microfluidic cell and particle encapsulation techniques.

These chips, which come in sizes of 30 and 50 m but lack the on-chip filters found in regular reagent chips, enable the simple encapsulation of cells, beads, or other particles in droplets as small as 5 m and as large as 75 m.

The Telos 1 Reagent 3D Flow Focusing chips have been developed for single reagent applications that use conventional chip geometries yet have substantial surface fouling.

To prevent fouling and enable longer production runs, each fluid junction features a modified "pore" structure on the outlet side that encourages quicker dissociation of the droplets from the channel walls.

All Telos chips have seven parallel connections, and they can be coated with hydrophilic, hydrophobic, or fluorophilic materials to create emulsions of water in fluorinated oil, water in oil, or oil in water.
