A motorcycle ambulance is a kind of emergency vehicle that either transports a single paramedic or first responder to a patient, or it is used in conjunction with a trailer or sidecar to transport passengers.
In dense traffic, a motorcycle ambulance can respond to a medical emergency considerably faster than a vehicle, van, or fire truck, which can improve the chances of survival for individuals who are experiencing cardiac arrest.
The motorcycle ambulances have proven to be a lifesaver for the residents of the area, transporting patients, pregnant women, and infants from outlying locations to the closest primary and Community Health Centers (CHCs).
The Global motorcycle ambulance services market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.
The Goa government has launched a motorcycle ambulance service. Patients in the coastal state who are in need receive prompt medical assistance from it. They introduced a batch of 20 two-wheeled ambulances that would be stationed in high-risk locations like the coastal belt. These motorcycles will come with medical supplies, such as oxygen cylinders.
These two-wheeled ambulances would be the initial reaction vehicles that would reach a person in an emergency and provide him with the essential medical aid. They are equipped with everything needed to revive a patient. These two-wheelers can access confined spaces and won’t become caught in traffic.
The two-wheeled ambulances will be followed by four-wheelers. A patient who will be transported to the hospital in a standard four-wheel ambulance on two wheels will be revived and stabilised.
With the help of private parties and as part of their corporate social responsibility effort, the state government plans to deploy 100 of these ambulances this year. In order to meet the demands of patients, they are distinctive, particularly constructed two-wheelers.
