A photodiode is a light sensor that transforms light into electricity (current or voltage).
It’s a PN junction semi-conducting device in which the negative and positive terminals of the battery are linked to the p and n sides of the photodiode, respectively. Between the p (positive) and n (negative) layers, there lies a natural layer.
