The bags, which will be available this month at Whole Foods Market and select retailers, are an illustration of PepsiCo’s investments in revolutionary food packaging technologies and the entire change.
The materials used to make these bags emit around less GHG emissions than standard packaging, and the technology may be freely licenced to other firms to expand its use across the consumer-packaged products industry.
