Tube packing can be a cost-effective approach to get customised products to customers. Technology advancements have made this packing solution more inexpensive.
Labelling the products to create personalised branding for even tiny quantities of cosmetics is also pretty straightforward.
Manufacturers have more flexibility with tube packing. Tubes can be created to accommodate as little as 3 ml or as much as 270 ml of a specialty cosmetic.
This means that the manufacturer can entice first-time users with little samples or smaller tubes of expensive products while maintaining bigger volume tubes of the same product.

Hoffmann, Switzerland – Thun Neopac has joined the Tube Council of North America as Neopac US Inc., a global manufacturer of high-quality packaging for a wide range of industries and applications.
Neopac’s new membership coincides with the launch of its first U.S. facility in Wilson, North Carolina, with a comprehensive line of tube solutions.
A high-speed tube line will be installed at Neopac’s Wilson facility, as well as capacity for numerous more packing lines.
Neopac’s skills enable it to best service the needs of the North American market in two ways: in the small tube niche, particularly in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and animal health industries, and in developing applications such as cannabis-based creams and liquids.
Colgate is launching its first recyclable tube in the United States, with a strong slogan on the package to help spread the word.
Colgate-tube Palmolive’s is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), the same No. 2 plastic used in milk and detergent bottles, and is the first to be recognised as recyclable by external recycling agencies.
There are no additional steps to recycling the tube with plastic bottles, such as rinsing, cutting, or cleaning it before tossing it into a recycling bin.
