The Chirp ICU-10201 and ICU-20201 are two new high-performance, ultra-low power integrated ultrasonic Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors by TDK Corporation for short- and long-range detection.

The new MEMS sensors have a more powerful on-chip CPU with increased computing capacity; the improved processing capabilities enable a wide range of application algorithms to fit and operate on-chip, entirely offloading the system MCU.

In comparison to the previous generation, the ICU-10201 and ICU-20201 incorporate a 10 times faster DSP with an HW multiplier for increased computation power, a 3 times bigger code memory, 2 times larger data memory, a fast host interface (SPI), and support for a broad variety of IO supply voltages.
