Installing EV recharging points at prominent public locations throughout the country, battery-powered EV driving is not possible without an EV charging station every 100 kilometres due to the limitations of current EV technology.
Many chargers have been put in place, including those in public spaces and at some frequently visited locations like hotels, restaurants, and shopping centers. Owners of electric vehicles from within and outside Macedonia will be able to travel in any direction thanks to a developed network of chargers.
The goal of the Electromobility with EVN project is to promote increased use of electric vehicles, which will significantly improve the environment and the tourism industry in Macedonia.
Over a one-year promotional period, the use of the EVN chargers will be free for all users.

The Deputy Prime Minister in charge of Economic Affairs, Coordination of Economic Departments, and Investments made the major announcement while visiting the factory. Future hybrid car systems will all be produced in this location.
This investment may result in more jobs being created. During the negotiations with Volkswagen over the next two to three weeks, this will be decided.
