    INTRODUCTION

    In On-board oxygen generation system , Fixed systems draw their oxygen supply from a pressurised cylinder of gaseous oxygen. This can be a dedicated cylinder or it might be the same cylinder that is used to supply the flight deck occupants.

     

    An oxygen manifold runs from the cylinder into the passenger compartment via a single regulator. The basic components of the On-board oxygen generation system are the concentrator, oxygen monitor, and oxygen breathing regulator. The concentrator produces an oxygen-rich gas by processing engine bleed air through two sieve beds.

     

     

    On-board oxygen generation system replaces Liquid Oxygen System (LOX) by utilizing bleed air from the aircraft engine and separating its components using molecular sieve (Zeolite) Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology.

     

    The system consists of two molecular sieve beds with oxygen plenum to provide breathing gas to aircrew continuously.

     

    On-Board Oxygen Generating System (OBOGS) centric Life Support System to provide enhanced physiology protection to aircrew of high altitude and high speed fighter aircrafts.It has LoadTwo bed OBOGS to meet breathing requirements of single and twin crew aircrafts.
