The 7000RMS rapid bioburden instrument provides instantaneous detection and quantification of microorganisms by utilizing cutting-edge laser-induced fluorescence and Mie scattering technology.

 

The 7000RMS Real-time Microbial Detection Analyzer counts individual microorganisms in pharmaceutical water by combining the laser-induced fluorescence and Mie scattering detection techniques.

 

It provides immediate real-time bioburden contamination monitoring without the need to gather a sample or wait days for plate count results.

 

An Online Water Bioburden Analyzer (OWBA) has been implemented by PMRS for our USP Water Loop, which supplies all of our facility's manufacturing operations. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the OWBA gives continuous, real-time data for biologic particles in the USP water system.

 

Online monitoring provides early warning of system deviations and fully confirms that the water being used satisfies criteria both before and after use.

 

The real-time detection of waterborne biologic particles, such as bacteria, yeasts, and molds, is possible with the OWBA device. The OWBA primarily picks up the inherent or auto-fluorescence signal from Dipicolinic Acid (DPA), which is found in bacterial spores, Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NADH), and Riboflavin, which are both found in all cells.
