 A form of thin film transistor called an oxide thin-film transistor (oxide TFT) or a metal oxide thin-film transistor uses a metal oxide compound as its semiconductor. NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH

A new 21-inch 3MP diagnostic monitor and oxide-based thin-film transistor digital x-ray detector (DXD) are being launched by LG Business Solutions USA. When it comes to delivering high Detective Quantum Efficiency (DQE), the wireless 14-x-17-inch DXD (model 14HQ901G*) will make use of a new oxide-based TFT design, while the 21-inch diagnostic monitor (model 21HQ513D-B*) will introduce localised brightness control. Both of these innovations will improve radiological image review, analysis, and diagnosis. 

 

LG's RSNA booth #2559 is where both models are on show. LG is dedicated to creating cutting-edge products that support healthcare providers in delivering the best care possible. Their new DXD and 3MP diagnostic monitor, which is about to be released, will further demonstrate their dedication by giving practitioners access to additional capabilities and efficiencies. A thin-film transistor (TFT) with an oxide-base and electron transfer rates that are over 30 times quicker than those of an a-Si TFT will be used in the new LG DXD. 

 

The DQE of the new oxide-based TFT was also improved by LG by 28 percent at 1 lp/mm when the Csl thickness of the 14HQ901G was increased from 300 um to 500 um in comparison to the 14HK701G. Additionally, this DXD offers a durable construction with concave edges and practical grips that are made to withstand a 1.5 metre drop.

 

The LG Acquisition Workstation Software version 3.0, which can analyse X-rays and advise the healthcare professional of any abnormalities and provide an abnormality score with a coloured heat map or contour that highlights any lesions discovered, is expected to be included in the new DXD model.
