The primary function of the portable weather station is to monitor common meteorological parameters in agricultural planting, which aids farmers' defence against meteorological disasters, accelerates the promotion of new varieties, reduces blind investment, and efficiently improves economic outcomes.
Portable weather stations allow users to detect wind speed, temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, and precipitation. These stations can be used to monitor weather conditions during response efforts.
The Global Portable Agricultural Weather Monitoring System market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.
Ranch Systems, a leading provider of monitoring and management systems for growers, has announced the global availability of their Portable Weather Station (PWS).
It can be configured for a variety of applications where weather and/or soil data is required for a short period of time and at multiple locations, such as assessing sites for vineyards and solar farms, fire weather, environmental monitoring, hay harvesting, and non-permanent crops such as wheat and corn.
The Ranch Systems PWS is a complete, ready-to-use portable weather/sensor station. It consists of a cellular telemetry unit and up to nine sensors that have been pre-integrated and tested as a complete system. It is made up of two parts: a mounting tripod and a sensor/node assembly.
The sensor/node assembly simply slips into the tripod and is fastened by tightening tripod bolts. When the solar panel wire is plugged in, the node instantly begins transferring data via the cellular network to the web-based RanchMaster programme hosted on a secure, remote server.
The data can then be viewed at any time, from any location, using a cell phone, tablet, or computer. The PWS is designed to swiftly disassemble into its two components for simple, safe transport in a truck cab.
They were able to not only bale their hay at the best time thanks to Ranch Systems' Portable Weather Station, but they also got better sleep." "Using temperature, humidity, and moisture data from the PWS, the RanchMaster programme wakes them up with a text message as well collecting micro-climate weather data to help plan their harvesting.
There will be no more waiting in the field or, worse, arriving late. They were able to improve the quality of their harvest and charge a greater price for it by getting the moisture level of the hay just perfect. They were amazed by the PWS's class and capability, as well as the support they received from Ranch Systems."
