A print job’s spooled data must be transformed into a format that can be transmitted to a print monitor by user-mode DLLs called print processors. They are also in charge of responding to requests from applications to halt, restart, and cancel print jobs.
Spool files hold the spooled data for the print job. The print processor reads the file, converts the data stream, and then sends the updated information to the spooler. The data stream is subsequently forwarded by the spooler to the appropriate print monitor.
To support a data type that Windows 2000 or later operating system versions do not support, you can design a bespoke print processor. Additionally, you can give users a specialized print processor that works with one or more of the available data formats.
enabling you to alter the functionality offered by the specified print processors.Multiple print processors supporting the same data type can coexist because print processors are linked to printer drivers during driver installation.
See Installing a Print Processor for more details. Most printers come equipped with a CPU, sometimes even several. Among the tasks is storing enough page images to satisfy the immediate needs of the printing equipment.
The Global Printer Processor market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
The ComColor Express RS1100C, a new raster image processor launched from RISO, Inc., has gone on sale. This latest development in RIP software from the company was created exclusively for the ComColor FW series printers to offer features necessary for transactional printing.
The ComColor Express RS1100C is a potent RIP program that can support the sophisticated postscript features required for transactional printing. It was created to increase the production capabilities of the ComColor FW series inkjet printers.
Workflows can be streamlined and overall productivity can be raised by using features like dynamic tray calls, subset finishing, mixed paper types, slip sheet sorting, form overlay, and color profile registration.
Andre D’Urbano, Director of Dealer Sales at RISO, Inc., stated that the only productivity-improving software previously offered for the FW Series was an extra PS-Kit.
