    As part of a collaboration with the fleet operator Mowasalat, the Public Works Authority “Ashghal,” and the Mannai Trading Company, ABB will design and install heavy vehicle charging equipment in 12 metro stations, four bus depots, and eight bus stops around Qatar.

     

    ABB will provide over 125 MW of charging capacity, 1,300 destination charging connectors, and 89 opportunity chargers, four of which will be mobile, for the project.

     

    With this charging system, the whole Mowasalat electric bus fleet can be charged overnight at the depots and during usage without interfering with normal operations, providing operators and passengers with a quick and convenient charging experience.
