Pallets composed of recycled nylon, a form of plastic, are known as recycled nylon pallets. Textiles, automotive parts, and industrial components are just a few examples of the many uses for nylon, a robust and resilient material.
Collecting discarded nylon items and converting them into brand-new nylon materials is known as recycling nylon. Usually, this procedure entails shredding the spent nylon into tiny bits, melting it, and reconstructing it into new nylon products.
As an alternative to conventional wooden pallets, nylon pallets have gained popularity recently. They are frequently employed in fields like food and medicine, where hygienic practises and cleanliness are crucial factors. Nylon pallets are microbial and moisture resistant, and they are simple to clean and sterilise.
Recycled nylon pallets have advantages for the environment in addition to their practical advantages. Pallets made from recycled nylon produce less trash and require fewer new resources. This may lessen the negative effects of pallet production and disposal on the environment.
Global recycled nylon pellets market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.
Ineos is collaborating with packaging company The PolyClear Group in the UK to provide cutting-edge solutions for shrink film applications.
The team has introduced a new polymer, a ready-to-use hybrid low-density PE compound that is supplied in pellet form and contains 60% post-consumer recyclate. It is a component of a line of Ineos polymers called Recycl-IN that uses PCR in place of virgin polymers.
The Recycl-IN grades for packaging and pallet wrapping, according to Ineos, were developed using the company’s technical and product knowledge from throughout its European operations, and they exhibit the same properties as virgin plastics.
According to the partnership, these novel polymers enable a more circular and sustainable approach by diverting plastic trash from landfills and turning it back into useful polymer products.
The hybrid polymer grades offered by Recycl-IN are a part of the company’s efforts to assist its clients in achieving comparable emission reductions.
