Electric tractors are propelled by electricity rather than fuel. Carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas that contributes to pollution and climate change, is not released by them. At the very least, they can perform on par with tractors that have comparable horsepower.
Vineyards and other places that currently use smaller tractors can benefit from the use of electric tractors. In the next few years, e-tractors with stronger (higher HP) motors and larger batteries will be widely available for scenarios that call for more power and even longer operating times.
Depending on the tractor, the size of the battery, and the load it is pulling, they can work in the field for up to 12 hours. Variants of the battery can be exchanged.
