The heavy-lift craft will be fitted with a diesel-electric propulsion system with a 10,500kW power output. The propelling system also consists of two 2,650kW bow thrusters and two 2,650kW stern thrusters.Additionally, a Class 2 dynamic positioning system and two fixed pitch propellers will be part of the propelling system.

The propulsion and ballast systems are being built with double separate redundant configurations in order to increase the vessel's safety and dependability.
