LANXESS is using more “circular” and bio-based raw resources in the production of plastics. The most recent item produced by the speciality chemical company is Durethan BLUEBKV60H2.0EF.
The new plastic grade is the company’s first offering under the new “Scopeblue” line of products. The brand label designates goods that either have a carbon footprint that is at least 50% less than that of conventional goods, or that are made with at least 50% circular (recycled or biobased) raw materials.
