A fixed-film biological wastewater treatment facility for businesses and communities is a submerged aerated filter (SAF). Its tried-and-true design combines low carbon footprint with energy efficiency.
A blower directs air to the bed’s bottom to deliver oxygen to the biomass and aid in the oxidation process. The air stream facilitates both efficient effluent mixing and the disruption of any extra solids in the filter medium.
The Global Submerged Aerated Filters (SAF) market accounted for $XX Billion in 2022 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2023 to 2030.
Premier Tech enhances their range of Rewatec SAF sewage treatment plants. Rewatec SAF sewage treatment facilities from Premier Tech Water and Environment have been improved to combine energy efficiency with extraordinarily high wastewater treatment performance.
In order to aid in the removal of solids and organics and to guard against potential obstructions downstream, the Rewatec SAF has undergone a redesign and now includes an internal baffle in the primary chamber. The operational effectiveness of wastewater treatment is further enhanced by a redesigned pipe configuration that optimises the level of oxygen induced into the biozone chamber.
Other distinctive features, such a redesigned manifold extension kit and a simplified manifold design, improve the plant’s overall durability while also making it simpler to install, commission, service, and maintain.
Each Rewatec SAF facility receives a sturdy kiosk to hold the mechanical and electronic parts needed to run the system. Innovative features like temperature and pressure alarms and air filter monitoring are standard, and options for remote plant monitoring via GSM and/or BMS are also available upon request.
On all plants exceeding 100 PE, a variable speed three-phase blower can be installed within the kiosk to improve efficiency, minimise energy usage, lower prices, and lower the overall carbon impact. In order to control the air supply in the biozone chamber and increase energy efficiency while lowering costs for the end user, an optional probe can also be provided.
