    UAE ELECTRIC CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT MARKET

    INTRODUCTION

Electric-powered vehicles (EVs) are now used in almost all applications in the construction industry. Previously restricted to specialized uses like stationary machinery, the smallest compact excavators, and massive mining trucks, electric power sources are now being used in all types of machinery.

For a very long time, vehicle manufacturers have been experimenting with electrification. Shunt trucks were the first type of truck to be “electrified” because of their limited range. Long-haul and work trucks are now being experimented with by manufacturers.

Electric engines that can equal diesel engine power outputs without the limitations are being developed by manufacturers to give the advantages of both electric and diesel power.

Having instantaneous torque and peak torque available at all operating speeds is another advantage of EVs over diesel engines, which must ramp up their engines from idle before having enough power to lift a load.

UAE ELECTRIC CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT MARKET NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH

At the Big 5 International Building and Construction expo, GB Equipment Solutions, a division of Gala Dari Brothers and the exclusive authorized distributor of JCB goods in the UAE, unveiled the first electric compact excavator of its kind.

The first dealership to purchase these electric excavators was Gala Dari, making it the first such machine to be introduced into the Middle East.

With the new excavator, users may work for an entire shift on a single charge.

Due to its small size and lack of emissions, it can be used for excavations inside buildings, which was previously not possible without disrupting regular operations of already-occupied buildings, though minor modifications may be needed.

Until recently, the only available options were diesel excavators. These devices can be used in even delicate settings like hospitals and food storage facilities.

Due to its special characteristics, the machine may also work at night in or close to residential and other decibel-sensitive regions, thereby reducing the amount of time needed to complete tasks in these areas.

The machines are so little that they can even fit through office and residential doors.
