The most power-effective option for battery-powered asset tracking systems with limited size constraints is an ultra-low-power GNSS platform. This module fits naturally into wearable devices thanks to its tiny size, low power consumption, and performance. It is offered in two product variations.
A self-contained, high-performance Global Satellite Navigation System receiver developed for navigation, tracking, and positioning applications is the GM Series GNSS receiver module.
This module provides reliable positioning performance for solutions with small antennas as well as for devices working in weak signal situations found when combined with its exceptional RF sensitivity.
The Global Ultra-Low-Power GNSS Module market accounted for $XX Billion in 2023 and is anticipated to reach $XX Billion by 2030, registering a CAGR of XX% from 2024 to 2030.
A tiny single-band ultra-low power GNSS module with quick and precise location performance has been released by Quectel Wireless Solutions, a leading global developer of IoT solutions. The new module is called the LC76G.
With enough supplies, the LC76G has already begun mass production, meeting the demands of the worldwide positioning market.
The LC76G, which is based on the Airoha AG3352 platform, can simultaneously process and receive signals from all constellations (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, and QZSS), which, when combined with SBAS capability, considerably increases the number of visible satellites and improves location accuracy.
A 40% advance over earlier generations of devices, the LC76G module can receive signals from as many as 47 satellites and reach 1.5m (CEP50 open-sky) location accuracy.
The LC76G module supports integrated AGNSS technology EPOTM, which decreases the time to first fix (TTFF), with a hot start taking less than one second, a warm start requiring two seconds, and a cold start able to get accurate tracking fixes in fifteen seconds.
With a smaller power budget than previously conceivable, accurate positioning and navigation services can now be used anytime, anyplace.
