    General Mills Introduces Vegan Cream Cheese Made with Whey From Non-Animals.

     

    Precision fermentation is a manufacturing technique used to produce the animal-free whey protein used in Bold Cultr cream cheese.

     

    These days, “animal-free” is the latest fad, and several businesses are using scientific technology to make things that are exact duplicates of those made from animals, but without the animal! With the introduction of their vegan cream cheese created with animal-free whey protein, General Mills is the most recent business to introduce an animal-free product.

     

    Under the new name Bold Cultr, the new vegan cream cheese is being made available.

     

    For the time being, the first and only product is a plain cream cheese made with proteins that are identical to those found in milk and are produced through careful fermentation.

     

    Perfect Day, a leader in food technology and the development of animal-free proteins, is the source of the non-animal whey protein.

     

    Additionally, pea protein, palm oil, and different cultures are used to make the cream cheese.

     

    The cream cheese will soon be available in two more flavours from Bold Cultr, along with slices and shreds made without using any animal products.

     

    The cream cheese is now available on Bold Cultr’s website and at a few Minnesota Hy-Vee stores. Rise Bagel Co. in Minneapolis, a well-known bagel shop, will start serving the product in January.

     

    Soon after the brand has gathered initial consumer input, expect to see a nationwide growth.
