The Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) is a multi-role light utility helicopter designed, developed, and manufactured by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in India. The ALH is a twin-engine, four-bladed helicopter that is primarily used for military, para-military, and civilian applications.

The LCH possesses the necessary maneuverability, agility, extended range, high altitude performance, and all-weather combat capabilities to carry out a variety of tasks, including counter-insurgency (CI) operations, enemy air defense (DEAD) demolition, and combat search and rescue (CSAR).
